This new series is the culmination of months of meticulous, deep research, connecting the dots of topics and players that have been treated as isolated by the news and podcasts. It's a multi-part investigative series uncovering the rising alliance of tech oligarchs, theocrats, and extremist ideologues forging a parallel state underpinning the current, decades-long effort to dismantle American democracy to create a new authoritarian order.

The discussions around these individuals and organizations are not new. I've covered fragments before: the power players, the ideologies, the endgames, like my popular article on the Rise of Patch Nations. You may have also heard of one or more of these shadow groups/players in the news and public discourse. These players have been covered in the past by various legitimate journalistic and academic sources as isolated, concerning topics.

This isn't just about naming names. It's about decoding and distilling a rising order, decades in the planning, forged at the nexus of tech war chests, religious extremism, and anti-democratic ambition. Behind today's culture wars lies a deeper, more dangerous machine beyond the obvious fascist tendencies of our executive branch of government: billionaire theocrats, Silicon Valley monarchists, and ideological fundamentalists quietly constructing a parallel state and new economic and governance structure.

From the Vatican to the Valley, this is the story of the empire they're resurrecting, the myths they're weaponizing, and the post-democratic future they're engineering.

Beyond Isolated Exposés

Unlike previous coverage—including my own—this investigation doesn't treat these phenomena as separate concerns. While excellent journalism has exposed tech oligarchs' political ambitions, judicial capture, or Project 2025's White Christian Nationalist blueprint, these exposés approached each as distinct threats rather than components of an interconnected system.

The emphasis of this new series lies in its ecosystem mapping—showing not just that these forces exist, but how they deliberately interact, reinforce one another, and converge toward shared origin, common overlaps and intersections, and anti-democratic ends despite their apparent differences. This isn't a coincidental alliance but a calculated convergence.

Why This Matters Now

This framework reveals patterns invisible when viewed in isolation of the why, how and who’s really underwriting our nation’s descent into crisis, below the surface. The machine dismantling American democracy isn't a conspiracy—it's a complex ecosystem with identifiable components, operational strategies, and clear objectives.

The convergence is the critical insight I hope to explain: While each faction has distinct motivations—tech elites want feudal corporate kingdoms, white nationalists want ethno-states, Christofascists want theocracy—they share a common enemy in democratic inclusivity and have formed a coalition of convenience.

The first episode launches tomorrow—fittingly on Easter—as we examine the symbolic confrontation between Pope Francis and the new theocratic movement that represents the opening salvo in a much larger battle for our collective future. In essence, a holy war for the soul of America.
